Krzysztof Candrowicz, Fotofestiwal (Poland)

Founder and director of the International Festival of Photography in Lodz, Foundation of Visual Education and Lodz Art Center. As a director of the festival, in 2004 he established a network of 30 European festivals of photography, called Photo Festival Union. Candrowicz also works as a guest curator and visiting lecturer in numerous organizations, museums, schools and festivals in Europe and worldwide. He has been a member of the jury of various art projects; e.g. the Rencontres d’Arles Discovery Award, the Hasselblad Foundation Award, the Deutsche Börse European Photography Prize, the Historical Book Award and the Author Book Award, Prix Pictet—The global award in photography and sustainability. In January 2014 he became artistic director of the Triennial of Photography in Hamburg.
