Federica Chiocchetti
Federica Chiocchetti, Photocaptionist (UK)
Writer, photography critic, editor and curator. The founding director of the photo-literary platform Photocaptionist, she is currently writing her PhD on photography and fiction at the University of Westminster. She works independently and for international institutions, collections, festivals and fairs, including the Kunsthalle Budapest, the V&A, Nottingham Castle Museum and Art Gallery, Brighton Photo Biennial, the London Art Fair and the Archive of Modern Conflict. Her writing has appeared in Der Greif, Photoworks, Foam, Objektiv, Unseen Magazine, The British Journal of Photography, Co-curate, EXTRA, The Photographers’ Gallery Blog and MAPP Editions (MACK).
Federica is interested in seeing “Fictional” photography (whatever that means); narrative; storytelling; image-text intersections; family & the archive; feminine-masculine; old photographic processes.
